I have a theory

Democrats, especially black and gay ones, must immediately mobilize to socialize with the rest of America. They must support every single little inch of effort to get broadband (real choice broadband, not AOL) to every last home in America. They must move into small town communities, and make their voices heard, every day. That’s it. Any other attempt to recover from this is doomed to failure. You can’t fight willful ignorance or belief with facts, numbers, or artful discourse. You can fight it with friendliness and social contact.
